Dr Jonathan Seymour is a member of the Wiltshire Family History Society and he has been researching his own family history for over 10 years.  Also he has designed and executed a family history project "MyFamily.MyRoots" at The Big Issue (Bristol) in order for street vendors to better understand their family roots and their links into larger society. 


He has conducted research at : Bristol Reference Library, The National Archives (Kew), Archives de Meurthe et Moselle at Nancy (France), Adoption Agency (Bristol), Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre and the County Record Offices of Oxfordshire, Essex and Suffolk.  He has full access to all of the major genealogical websites and utilises other software in the course of his work. 


He has attended the Family History Course held at Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre and has had previous significant careers in Biophysics as a scientist and more recently I.T. where he specialised in performance testing computer systems.
